A garden is a thing of beauty - enhanced, perchance, by sculpture
Seven gardens, each impressive in their own right, and graced with a variety of sculptures, will be open for viewing on a one-time basis to benefit Sebastopol Center for the Arts.
Visit a minimalist site designed using “sweeping” plantings and hardscape; a vegetable garden designed to foil gophers; a town house showcasing "small space" creativity, and several spacious gardens that let you ramble and wonder, or sit and meditate in their beautiful surroundings. All have sculptures on display, some in the permanent collection of the owner and others from local artists on display for the occasion. Gardens are those of Barbara Briggs-Letson & Walter Muelken, Bill Yoes, Mary & Allan Cone, Trish & Richard Power, Kathie & Frank Mayhew, Janet & Harvey Charnofsky, Maile & Warren Arnold.
