Botanical Name: Acer p. "Sango Kaku"

The Coral Bark Maple is one of the most colorful trees in winter. The bark turns a wonderful coral color when it goes dormant and then in most cases goes back to a lime green color once spring comes around. This Japanese maple has a lime green leaf that turns into a brilliant yellow and fiery orange in the fall. It would prefer a little afternoon shade or filtered light.
