Evergreen tree. Slow growing. Rounded canopy. Attractive reddish bark. Clusters of urn-shaped rosy-pink flowers in fall. Produces small quantity of showy round orange-red fruit in fall and winter. Drought tolerant. Good substitute for Madrone.
