Deciduous perennial. Bushy upright plant with scented fine foliage. Airy clusters of ruby red colored, tube shaped flowers summer through fall. Loved by humming birds. Great for low water gardens. Deer resistant. Moderate water needs once established. Adaptable to various soil conditions if not soggy. Hardy to 15-20°F.
