Deciduous shrub. Very adaptable shrub that is tolerant of many pollutants as well as drought. Deer resistant with colorful red berries in the fall. This cultivar is upright and columnar with lime-yellow leaves and small, sharp thorns on red stems. Tiny, yellow flowers in the spring. Low water needs once established.
