Description
Evergreen shrub. Slow growth. Upright habit. Glossy, dark green foliage is thin but leathery. Black tea (sweet tea), green tea, and white tea are all made from the new growth of the camellia sinensis plant. Fragrant pure white flowers with yellow stamens bloom in fall and early winter. Likes moist but well-drained acidic soil.
