Description
Deciduous shrub. This NON-native Ceanothus is a hybrid between an Eastern US species and a Mexican species. Vigorous grower with large dark green leaves 2-4′ long. Unlike their California cousins, the sky-blue flowers of this variety bloom in the summer into fall. This Ceanothus will lose its leaves for the winter, prefers well-drained soil, and requires moderate watering once established.
