Description
Deciduous tree. Native to Japan. Rather slow growing. Foliage always fresh looking. Pyramidal shape when young, eventually becoming a graceful round canopied tree. New leaves emerge with purple changing to green. Fall color is mixed yellows and soft oranges with spice scent. Older specimens have wonderful grace and form. Silver-brown bark looks good year round. Moderate water needs once established.
