Description
Deciduous perennial. Leaves emerge green in spring with the top growth quickly turning bright red. Foliage turns red in cold weather. Tough relative of Christmas Poinsettia. Interesting cup-shaped yellow-green “flowers” bloom in late spring. Also known as Euphorbia epythimoides First Blush. Deer resistant. Low to moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 0°F or below.
