Description
Deciduous perennial. Foliage forms a neat mound of lance-shaped green leaves. Large ruby-red blossoms appear in summer and into fall. Petals form a circle around the soft center cone. Remove spent flowers to encourage new blooms. Low to moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 0°F and below.
