Description
Evergreen perennial. Also known as Iris germanica. Thick green grass-like leaves add instant architecture to any garden. Stunning ruffled blooms are soft white with dusty pale pink beards. Bloom time is from late spring into early summer. Spreads by rhizome; best divided every 4-5 years. Deer resistant. Regular water needs while blooming, prefers less water after flowering. Requires good drainage; does not tolerate sodden soil. Hardy to 0°F.
