Description
Deciduous perennial. Also known as Oenothera macrocarpa. Sprawling habit with thin, shiny, dark green leaves. Late spring to early fall bears pure yellow, mildly fragrant, 4-inch flowers that remain open all day. Large seed pods follow the flowers. Low to moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 0°F and below.
