Description
Deciduous tree. On this specimen the canopy has been pruned to start higher up on the trunk. Fast growing. Upright branching broadly oval form. Medium-sized very dark reddish-purple oval leaves. Profusion of small single light-pink flowers in March to April. Fruitless. Low to moderate water needs once established.
