Description
Evergreen perennial. Narrow silvery-green spine-margined foliage grows in dense tufts to 3 feet tall from which arise the tall scarlet-branched stalks of dark purple flowers with prominent yellow stamens in spring. Low water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 15-20°F.
