Evergreen (in mild climates) perennial. Elongated bright green, slightly serrated leaves. Clusters of lilac to purple-blue flowers appear above foliage in summer and fall. Also known as Verbena venosa. Moderate to regular water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 15-25°F.
