Description
Perennial from bulb. Large, purple-green, fleshy leaves rise directly from the rhizomes. Extremely showy flowers are deep plum, near black with a dark finger-like center that are borne atop a leafless stalk and appear in late spring through summer. Moderate to regular water needs once established. Hardy to 10-15°F.
