Description
Deciduous shrub. Compact, mounding form. Thorny stems covered in rich burgundy leaves in spring, maturing to a soft reddish black. Pale yellow flowers bloom in spring. Showy fruit attracts birds and persist into winter. Deer resistant due to thorns. Low water needs once established.
