Evergreen shrub in mild climates. Zones 12, 13, 16-24, H2. African native with spiny thorns. Glossy green oval leaves. Milky, latex sap when plant is cut. Star shaped tubular white flowers are in small clusters throughout the year. Low water needs once established.
