Semi-evergreen perennial. Creeping habit; spreads by runners to form low dense foliage mats of medium-green, spear-shaped leaves. Can be invasive. Upright spikes of rosy-pink hooded flowers rise above the leaves in summer. Attracts butterflies and beneficial insects. Regular water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 0°F.
