Evergreen tree. Fast growing. Pyramidal shape when young. Spreading, picturesquely sculpted when old. Bright golden foliage has citrus-like odor. Native to Monterey coast. Not recommended for hot inland areas. Deer resistant. Moderate water needs once established.
