Description
Deciduous perennial. Compact habit forms a neat mound of lance-shaped, gray-green leaves. Large, 3-4in wide, scarlet red blossoms with yellow tipped petals appear in summer and into fall. Remove spent flowers to encourage new blooms. Low to moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 0°F and below.
